App Behaviour Differences
Last updated
Postman Calls runs as a web-based app. Some behaviours may differ from your phone’s native dialler. These differences are expected and do not necessarily indicate a bug.
Unlike native phone calls, your phone screen may not automatically dim/lock during a call. This increases the chance of accidental taps during a call. We would recommend being mindful of screen touches during calls, and to avoid placing your face/cheek directly on the screen.
On mobile: Do not lock your phone screen or switch to another app during the call. This may disrupt microphone access and cause the call to end unexpectedly.
Some settings that work for native calls may not work the same way for Postman Calls, for example:
The “power button ends call” setting does not work on Postman Calls. Calls should be terminated using the end-call (red) button
